When you use HoldSpeak, we do not collect or upload your recordings to the internet. The app operates locally on your macOS device.
The types of data app obtains when you use HoldSpeak and how we use them:
- Transcription duration
- Transcription length
- Transcription language
- Transcription time
- The model used for transcription
- An anonymized user identifier. The identifier cannot be traced back to any personally identifiable information
- Device metadata, namely platform, system version, app version, build number, and the device model type
We collect these data in order to monitor and improve the product.
You can opt-out of sharing this data by going to Settings → General → Uncheck "Send anonymous analytics".
Use of Information
The recording are processed locally on your device. We do not store, transfer, or access your recordings during or after the transcription. HoldSpeak respects your privacy and ensures that your recordings remain secure and confidential.
